“The event ‘Lucio Dalla and the Young’ open to the public and organized by the students of the Salvemini High School in Sorrento – said writer Raffaele Lauro – is a cultural, educational and learning initiative of extraordinary importance, which deserves attention at national level and an honoured leadership and supervision of the prestigious Sorrentine institute. I am gratified that my narrative contributions on the great artist from Bologna, the friend of Sorrento and the Sorrentines, have been chosen as a topic of study for the students, in a synthesis of prose, poetry and music. This would have pleased and moved Lucio Dalla, always involved in the future of the younger generation.” The singer from Bologna will be the protagonist of the cultural event, “Lucio Dalla and the Young”, on Saturday, 12th December 2015 at 9.00am, at Teatro delle Rose in Via delle Rose 35, Piano di Sorrento. The event, organized by the School Headmaster, the Faculty and the Institute Council of the State Scientific High School “Gaetano Salvemini” in Sorrento, will be introduced and hosted by Antonino Siniscalchi, journalist and lecturer in Sports Science. Patrizia Fiorentino, the Headmaster, will welcome the guests. Marisa Cimmino and Marilù Ruggiero, lecturers in Literary Subjects, will coordinate the reading groups of the biographical novel by Raffaele Lauro, “Caruso The Song - Lucio Dalla and Sorrento”. There will be presentations by Sonia Pappalardo (V D); Chiara Somma (V D); Claudia Cafasso (IV E) and Dario De Rosa (IV E).
