The historical novel "Sorrento The Romance" by Raffaele Lauro, published by GoldenGate Edizioni, will be presented at the invitation of the Mayors of Sorrento and Massa Lubrense, Giuseppe  Cuomo and Leone Gargiulo, and their respective municipalities: at the Council Chamber of the City of Sorrento on 30 November 2013 at 10:30 am, and at the Hall of Sirens of the municipality of Massa Lubrense on 14 December 2013 at 10:30 am. The debate at Sorrento will be moderated by journalist, Antonino Pane. The introduction will be performed by the Councillor for Culture, Maria Teresa De Angelis. Among the speakers the presentation will be attended by the Pontanian Academic , Professor Salvatore Ferraro;  Professor of the History of Political Thought, Ettore Cuomo; Senior Editor of "Il Mattino", journalist and former Senator, Teresa Armato; Director of the RAI Production Centre in Naples, Professor Francesco Pinto. The event will be concluded by the Mayor of Sorrento, Mr. Giuseppe Cuomo. The debate at Massa Lubrense will be moderated by the Councillor for Culture, Donato Iaccarino, who will also conclude the meeting. Among the speakers the event will be honoured by the presence of lawyer Angelo Armano; President of the Archeoclub of Massa Lubrense, Stefano Ruocco, restaurateur Livia Iaccarino and the Parson of the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Don Rito Maresca. In the afternoon of 30 November 2013 at 5.30 pm the novel will be presented in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi at the Oratory of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy  Rosary. The event will be moderated and concluded by Engineer Giuseppe Cesaro, Prior of  the Brotherhood of the Most Holy  Rosary. The greeting of the City Administration will be led by the Council Member, Diego Piroddi. The speeches will be held by historian Marco Mantegna; publicist Riccardo Piroddi; hotel business entrepreneur, Dr. Luigi Poi;  lawyer Giuseppe Staiano and lawyer Salvatore Ravenna. In the afternoon of 14 December 2013 at 5:00 pm the novel will be presented in Capo di Sorrento in the Auditorium of the Church of the Holy Rosary. The event will be moderated by the journalist from “Il Mattino”, Antonino Siniscalchi. The introduction will be hosted by Mons. Antonino Persico. The speeches will be held by historian Fabrizio Guastafierro; President of the Research Center "B. Capasso", Professor Enzo Puglia; Professor of Philosophy and History in high schools, Vincenzo Russo, and the Deputy Mayor of Sorrento, Giuseppe Stinga. The summary of the meeting will be entrusted to the President of the Association for Historical Studies of Sorrento and lawyer, Mr. Antonino Cuomo. More presentations have been scheduled for the beginning of 2014, in South America at the Italian Institutes of Culture, then in Sant'Agnello, Presenzano, Castellammare di Stabia, Positano, Gaeta, Bari, San Severo di Foggia and Reggio Calabria.
