The national preview of the historical novel by Raffaele Lauro, “Sorrento The Romance”, published by GoldenGate Edizioni, will take place on Thursday, 21 November 2013, at 5.30 pm in the Senate of the Republic, at the Chapter Hall of the Cloister of Santa Maria sopra Minerva at 38 Piazza della Minerva. The event will be moderated by Massimo Milone, the head of Rai Vaticano. The speeches will be presented by: Stefano Lucchini, head of ENI International Relations; Alessandro Preziosi, actor and theatre director; Bruno Astorre, senator of the Republic; Vincenzo Scotti, president of Link Campus University, and his Excellency Mons. Vincenzo Paglia, president of the Pontifical Council for the Family. The conclusion of the event will be hosted by her Excellency Annamaria Cancellieri, Minister of Justice. The novel develops in the historic setting of the sixteenth-century Europe, bloodied by religion wars and the Mediterranean clash between Christianity and Islam. It represents the possible overcoming through dialogue of the conflict between the monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
